Hey Folks!

Time has come! Right now I’m sitting in Düsseldorf at my parents place and packing all my stuff together. My bike is already in a box and ready for take off. I was supposed to take the plane to Oslo tomorrow but flights have changed and now I’m going today and stay one night at a friends place.

The last week in Innbruck was really nice.  I had a very decent BBQ with some friends. Funny thing- nobody was from Germany and our language was English!

We had Viktor and Rafa from Spain, Caro from France, Mr. James from GB and Andrew with his parents from the Czech- Republic. James brought some Turkish

food which was really tasty.  Hanging out with those guys is always pure fun, because everyone has some decent stories from his country to tell.

Last Monday I had the second day of my MTB shooting. Fortunate ME! Weather was perfect. So we headed up at 8 a.m and started to take some pictures. The whole day was perfect. We have some really nice shots, we had some tasty food at Höttinger Alm and good drinks at the beach bar. It was the first time for me to take pictures on a bike with a professional photographer. I can tell you, it is amazing.

Makes riding bikes so easy looking! I was riding the SX-Trail the whole day and felt in love with those freeride bikes. I would immediately swap my downhill bike for such a joy machine.

I felt pretty comfortable and was able to ride every section in the steep Nordpark Trail.  The last day I took the SX and went from Hungerburg ( for those who don’t know Innsbruck: Hungerburg is the place where the Cable Car from Innsbruck town ends) and went in the mountains through the woods to Hall in Tyrol to see our breeder and our dog. It was a nice day because i could ride my bike again and see our dog. Yes I know! It’s lame! But that what’s important for me and makes a perfect day for me.

Hey Folks

Today should be the big shooting day up on Nordpark!  Viktor a friend from Spain, Simone the photographer from Italy ,Manni our bus driver and I ,  met at Congress station at 9 a.m.

When I woke up this morning I thought that it’s going to be shit weather today but I never thought it would be as bad as it has been this morning!

When we reached Seegrube Station it was around 3°C and mixture of snow and rain was falling from the grey sky! Nevertheless we tried to stay optimistic and gave it a try.

The rain stopped for a while what was really nice but wind became way stronger so windchill was about 0°C.

After approximately 3h we decided to go home. On top it was snowing, a few meters below raining and everything combined with some heavy wind.  Soaky wet we hoped into the bus and headed back home!

Tomorrow the weather should be way better and temperature will be again up to 30°C.  I’ll rest this day , because I feel like I’m getting ill.

Hello everyone!

In the past few months a lot of things changed. First of all I finished my studies. After two or three really exhausting months of hard work  and learning sessions every day, Andreas and I could finally deliver our Bachelor Thesis by the beginning of June! After that we had to prepare for the final exam session in mid July!

In the mean time I decided to make a change and move to Norway! Yes , I’ll move to the vikings! I’m pretty excited how life will be up there. The only thing I know so far is that in winter it is very dark and in summer very bright!

So yes I don’t really know how things are going to be but we’ll see.

No but seriously I have to admit that after 4 years in Innsbruck I can tell that it is not my town. I like the landscape and everything but I have some issues with the old citizens of Innsbruck. I’m definitely not used to the attitude some people have.

I realized that while I was working in different shops in Innsbruck. The latest job was at G-Star Innsbruck! Cool Brand with some unique masterpieces and some, lets say fashion No-GOs!

I don’t want to offend anyone but people who buy this stuff voluntarily  probably has some kind of condition!

Nevertheless Bernd looks freaking hot in this outfit. By the way; he’s my former boss and the best boss you can have. He’s always chilled and is not like those other freaks who always talk trash such as:” May I stick this in?”

So this is Anna!  She’s maybe not that classy but definitely not cheap! Or is she? I guess yeah she looks damn cheap, BUT this would be like a super “fesh”;”lässig” whatever outfit for some Austrian girls to hit the nightclub!

Sometimes I asked myself if those people were blind or at least their friend, because they never said anything!

So yeah this was some insight into my former life as a sales man at G-Star the super decent like awesome brand from the Netherlands.

I don’t know how it will be in Norway but I guess WAY better! First I was very insecure and didn’t knew if I made the right decision.  At this point a big thank you to my friends , who always helped me in this tough time! A special THANK YOU goes out to my dear friend from Spain! Every night we were hitting booze you always listened and gave me some good advise.

In the mean time my dog got pregnant!  Yes! Pregnant! Yvonne made a  nice move and went to Norway and left me back in Innsbruck with a pregnant dog! The first weeks very not kind of a problem but than; it changed rapidly!

-”I won’t eat this shit food you are giving me!”

-”Dude are you kidding?It’s raining, of course I don’t want to go for a walk”

-”I’ll be in your face if you stop petting me”

So yeah it was pretty exhausting with her and she topped everything yesterday. She didn’t want to eat her food. So I changed it! Still not good enough! Well, I thought she’s probably not hungry at all.

So I went to buy some food and left the dog sleeping on my bed. After 30 min  I came back and opened the door to the bedroom! It looked like a bomb just detonated.

Dallas went nuts! The victims were the garbage can and my closet!

Dallas and I also traveled to Germany and met some former friends of mine.It was really nice to see some old faces.

Originally I was supposed to go back to Germany yesterday but the circumstances changed and I’m still in Innsbruck.

Tomorrow and on Monday I have this mountain bike shooting for the Italian Mountain Bike Magazine so that’s why I stayed in Innsbruck and that’s why i got this for the whole weekend.

I’m really looking forward to ride this bike. Something totally different then my Canfield!

Tomorrow I’ll have to meet those guys at 9 and it just started raining. So we’ll see how the shooting will go! Unfortunately I can’t stay much longer in Austria, because I’m going to Oslo and than to Hafjell to ride bikes with some Norwegian friends and my girlfriend.

I had to give Dallas back to the breeder this evening so I kind of feel really lonely without my girlfriend and my dog!  It’s strange how you get used to something! And now I won’t see the small pussy magnate for approximately three moths? Shit this is a freaking long time!

It is kind of hard to realize but my life will change drastically. No more skiing with my dear friends from the Freeski-Crew,no biking with Olli at the shitty Nordpark, no shitty clubs such as Stadtcafe , no shitty people such as the CEO from the company that is shaping the Nordpark Trail.

I just pushed the restart button and hope that by the end of October everything will be solved and things are going to be good!

I got to jump into bed and get some sleep before tomorrow!

I´m truly sorry but there was no time for me to blog. So last time I posted something was in January?Now it´s May!Perfect timing I would say. So a short recap on what happened. -Nothing-! Just kidding! In February i had my exams and passed all of them. do not ask me how I did that! Therefore, right now I´m in the final semester of my studies. Final semester means shit loads of work! Right now we are trying to put our Bachelor Thesis together. That´s why there was not that much time to go skiing. But!I went skiing!A lot! Nope not really a lot! Anyways…the recap right. Ehmm…lets start with the Freeski-crew.com mid season party:”AWESOME!” or not? I thing it was cool but I liked the first one better. What should be mentioned next? It´s is hard to remember everything…oh yes. Kronplatz! “AWESOME!” Not really! After three hits a storm came up. No jumping for me and the other guys who went there that day. Franz Ortlepp and Will-I-Am in Innsbruck! good times and a few good days skiing and shooting. Best of all. “The Prank”! At this point I will not say any names, but I guess everyone knows what I mean. Conclusion: All you need is Love!:-)

So next to come? Spring sessions at Stubai. Good skiing with friends. Now easter holidays. I went to Livingo! Bad times!

After Livingo I went to Zugspitze for the K2 Spring In The Park Camp…1 week with funny people! At this point I should mention the achievements! 2 black friends in my buddy list on Facebook! Torge founder of a new dancing style! Short trip to the Bronx and back to G-A-P!

So after Zugspitze I went back to Innsbruck. Meanwhile my concept for the Bachelor Thesis has been approved! I know nobody gives a F***!The last days in April and May I tried to go skiing as much as possible. One of those days was at Stubai! Where else! Achievements: One bloody nose;One broken Ski including a night in the hospital; One bruised spine!

After all i have to say not the best season but very very funny. Thanks K2 and Westbeach for the great support!

In June all those crazy people will meet again at Val Senales! So see u there!

Don´t forget that there is another Freeski-crew.com party in studio 21 in Innsbruck on June the 3rd.

Sup boys and girls!!!

The past weeks went by pretty unspectacular…We had around 10°c in town and most of the snow melted down. If you ask me it was quite sad to see all the mountains around turn green. On the other hand we had some damn good slush sessions up at Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen. The take offs were solid and the landings like a foam pit. Really a decent combination to try out new tricks.

NOIi did not stomp a dub cork or whatever but maybe I will, instead I forced myself to try right-side cork 720 and by the end of the day I could say that I got a good feeling for that trick. I just need to grab a bit nicer  and than maybe I can say that I can do right-side cork 720°:-)

Last Tuesday Pius and I went up to Nordpark to earn some money.The Russian TV asked us I we could come and jump the kicker and yes it was very exhausting-NOT!!!

So if you ever get the opportunity to work with Russian TV people-GO FOR IT!!!

After a really chilled session , we got the possibility to shoot together with Mario Webhofer.

Mario is a professional photographer who built a Hexocopter. You don´t know what a Hexocopter is?

Neither did I!!! This gadget is like a model helicopter only that it has  6 rotors and in the end that thing does  not look like a helicopter at all. Then you put a camera into it and there you go. The perfect toy for big boys.

For this weekend I got the opportunity to go to Saas Fee with K2 and shoot for Discovery Channel unfortunately I won´t make it what makes me really pissed.

Anyways, I hope that we´ll get some serious amount of fresh snow so that I can head out, build a jump and finally try some dubs, which now every kid around seems to throw down.

Hey folks!!!

Today a busy week ended. I´ll start with Tuesday.

My boys from the Freeski-Crew and I went to Axamer Lizum to shoot some rail stuff. The boys set up a super nice canon pipe and when Flo and I arrived everything was ready to shred. It was a pretty decent session with shit loads of fun. Flo was throwing down some sick tricks and we had a few funny bails.

On Thursday I went with Pius to Axamer Lizum to shred some pipes down on the parking lot. To our surprise the Crew from Axamer Lizum had set up the park and as we arrived it was ready to shred.

This year the park is pretty decent. A lot of butter boxes and  a nice down rail. The park is perfect for a few laps after school or in bad weather.

During Friday night Innsbruck was covered by  approximately 30cm of fresh pow. The decision to go skiing instead of to university was not that hard! I went to Axamer Lizum again, wich turned out to be a big mistake. There was just 20cm of fresh pow and zero visibility. I went to the car and changed my Hellbent for the Domain.I stayed in the park till 1 p.m ., then Bene from Freeski-Crew called me and asked me if I would be down for a night session. I truly was  and  around 4.pm. we went to Kühtai. What exactly we did there you guys will see in the Freeski-Crew movie. I just can tell you that we´ll do it again and hopefully get more of those super nice shots.

I came home around 11.pm and went straight to bed.

Today I went to Schlick2ooo to find some fresh powder.

The first run was pretty bad and we nearly lost motivation, but  we found  some untracked  lines afterwards and had a  nice pow day till our legs were burning.

Tomorrow I have to work what is pretty good so my legs will have a day rest.

It´s December and finally it´s winter!!!

I had a few epic powder days with my friends, besides that I passed a very important exam. I´m pretty glad that I passed this one , because now I can write my Bachelor thesis next semester.

Tomorrow there´s another presentation for me and than I can focus more on skiing!

Hey everyone!!!

Finally!I´m back on skis! Today Andreas and I had our final exam! We were pretty sure that it started 9 a.m so we could go skiing the whole day.As it turned out the exam was at 10 a.m what nearly ruined our day.

We decided to write that annoying exam as fast as possible and so we did. At 11.30 a.m  we were on our way to the secret spot together with Yvonne and a friend of her.

As we arrived we had perfect weather and snow conditions. Blue bird all day long and fresh pow!

We found some nice lines and small cliffs to huck. I was really astonished, because I have never been  skiing there and this place is really a hot spot for powder.

I hope that there will be some fresh snow tomorrow so I can go skiing there on Saturday.
